Product Description

This benefit provides for substitute transportation if a part is replaced or a repair is completed, due to a mechanical failure, under factory warranty or factory recall.  Reimbursement is only available to the original registered owner or lessee when a valid request is properly submitted.  Arrangements and payment for all rentals are the responsibility of the vehicle owner through a rental car agency or dealership.  All rental car liabilities are wholly separate from VAS.

Rental Car Benefit Coverage

Should acustomer require Rental Car coverage, this benefit provides reimbursement coverage up to their maximum benefit amount.  Substitute transportation must be supplied by a duly licensed rental agency.  The administrator’s cost will be limited to a maximum of $35 per 8 hours (or fraction thereof) approved repair time, as reported on the factory warranty repair order.  Maximum limit of liability for this benefit is $280 for the term of this agreement.

A tracking number, issued via a toll-free call, will be required prior to wheel replacement or repair.  Data processing and reporting will be available on our VAS web site.
